Return to Press Releases Doyle Systems MultimodalTM Cleaning in Action BARBERTON, OH - (6/1/07) In many converting applications static elimination and vacuum tools perform at their best when supplemented with direct contact from heavy-duty brushes and high velocity air scrubbing to free debris from the web surface. This one-of-a-kind MultimodalTM approach allows the cleaning system to aggressively break loose dust, dirt, felt hairs and fiber that are partially bonded to the surface and vacuum them away before recontamination can occur. Converters frequently express concern that some coated surfaces or films are too scratch-sensitive to take advantage of MultimodalTM cleaning. However, in many cases, proper brush selection and testing show that successful MultimodalTM cleaning is possible on more sensitive surfaces. Or, in cases where the surface cannot be brushed, customized contact roll cleaning solutions can be implemented. Each Doyle MultimodalTM cleaning system is custom-designed to meet the customer’s specific application. Doyle engineers place the system at or near the source of surface contamination for maximum effect. This optimal positioning also prevents dust and debris from re-depositing on the surface after cleaning has taken place. Founded in 1922, Doyle Systems manufactures and markets cleaning and quality control systems used throughout the graphics industry. They will be exhibiting their unique MultimodalTM cleaning system at CMM, Booth 702, June 4-7. For more information, contact Doyle Systems at 800.445.3856, or visit www.doylesystems.com. |
